Lonn Braender grew up in central Jersey and spent his summers at the Jersey shore. For twenty-five years, Lonn was a watercolor and aquapasto painter of landscapes and seascapes. When a career change limited his time, he began to write. A small ad in the back of a Rehoboth Beach anthology calling for short story submissions lit a spark in him.
His first short story submitted appeared in the 2016 Beach Reads anthology called Beach Nights and was honored with a Judge’s Award. Since then, Lonn has been published six more times in the Cat & Mouse Press Rehoboth Reads anthologies and has been honored with two more awards. His short story titled Red Skinny Dress won third place in the 2023 Bucks County Short Story Competition. He has two yet-to-be-published full-length novels in the works and a second series book of Rehoboth Beach stories called The Cat Who Saved Rehoboth.

J. Alexander
Alexander was raised in a crowded bedroom community of New York City and has been writing gay erotic stories and novels for over a decade. Is It Crazy to Want This? came about by cutting and saving the erotic scenes from a different mainstream novel. Those scenes became the storyline of New Roles for Both, which turned into a series of three novels – Is It Crazy to Want This? Is the first in the series. Other short stories can be found on Nifty.org.
This is the first J. Alexander full-length novel to be published.
